There has been a marked rise in traffic to Full Tilt Poker.com. The sudden surge in the site’s popularity can probably be attributed to the beginning of the tenth edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series. The $15 million in prize money that is being offered is more temptation than the average poker player can resist.
Record number of players
Based on numbers that were flowing in from independent poker tracking statistics, there were a record 9704 players in a 24 hour period which was the highest recorded this year.
Main Attractions at FTOPS
The current FTOPS series features 25 events spread over a 12 day period. Some of the highlights include high profile celebrities hosting the events. While six events offer a million dollars in prize money, 2.5 million dollars has been ear marked as the prize money for the main event in a bid to boost entry registrations to the event despite the doubling in the buy-in to $5200.
